【源起】:浮雲自2002年起在許多討論組已貼有不少關於茶的圖片,至今應該已有幾百張了。 這些圖片散落在各討論區,有時候想找回自己所張貼的圖,我也感到力不從心,而且使用那些網上照片簿有也不少限制。 因此,浮雲決定把由2006年9月起,把圖片開始逐漸放到新註冊的網域下 http://www.cloudsteacollection.com , 作一個有系統的管理,也方便茶友來這兒尋找圖片資料。這兒會不時作出圖片更新及新的網頁設計,茶友可不妨定期造訪,看看更新。希望你喜歡這兒的圖片。 如茶友想與浮雲討論茶事,可到 浮雲藏茶-雅虎博客Cloud's Tea Collection - Blogger【華山論茶】討論組 http://www.puerh-teapot.com (暫停服務)。 這兒暫時只有數版網頁計設,請參看索引,這只是暫時的版面設計。待日後有更多圖片,就會考慮把圖片按不同類別分類。這改版事情需時,日後再作打算。

[Recital]: Cloud has been posting several hundreds of tea photos in many discussion groups since 2002. These photos were loosely distributed over different discussion forums. I felt hard to locate the photos I posted. Besides, there are a lot of restrictions of those internet photo albums. Therefore, Cloud decides to place these photos under my newly registered domain http://www.cloudsteacollection.com starting from September 2006 in order to organise these photos systematically so that tea lovers can easily find the tea photo information they want. The photos and the site will be updated from time to time. You may come here to take a look regularly. Hope you will enjoy the photos here. If you want to leave me a message, welcome to one of my two tea blogs Cloud's Tea Collection - Blogger or Cloud's Puerh Tea Collection - Blogger. There is only several page at the present moment. Please refer to the index. This is a temporary design. When there will be over several hundred photos, I will consider to classify those photos in accordance with their natures. However, reconstruction of the site takes a lot time. Let's see how it goes.

A0002 Zhongcha Brand Simplified Chinese Characters Seven-sons Tea Cake. These were the 1970s' products. Their qualities are almost as good as some aged masterpieces. They can be regarded as quasi-masterpieces.

A0006 Zhongcha Brand Simplified Chinese Characters Seven-sons Tea Cake, the 19 Chinese Characters version. This version has 2 more simplified Chinese characters - TEA LEAVES "茶葉" which formed "Tea Leaves Branch" combination. This combination is like the hybrid of printing of both Simplifed and Traditional version.

A0010 Yellow Print series with a TEA character in green on the wrapping paper. It is a good aged tea produced in early 1970s. The description ticket had expressly stated that this version was formulated with conscientious prescription. Therefore, the market calls this speical Yellow Print aged tea cake as "Conscientious Prescription"

A0012 Whether aged Puerh tea should be appreciated seriously or causally depends on the situations. If it is necssary, drink the aged Puerh tea in a causal manner in a restaurant does not really mean that you do not treat the tea seriously.

A0015 Sometimes, I will use a specially home use designed bamboo equipment to dry my tea over a fire (actually, heat generated by electricity). This can modify the taste of oolong tea.

A0021 This is 1970s Zhongcha Brand Simplified Chinese Characters Seven-sons Tea Cake (Raw). This used tea cake is brewed by Cloud weekly. It is Cloud's weekly tea. While I am collecting different kinds of Puerh Tea, I am not just collectiing, I do brew them as well. They are drinkable collectables.

A0023 Brewed tea leaves of the 1970s Zhongcha Brand Simplified Chinese Characters Seven-sons Tea Cake. Even though it was stored for many years, the tea leaves colour after brewing is still chestnet-like reddish-brown provided that the storage over the years was good. What I can say is BEAUTIFUL!

 
按下圖片取得640x480解像度 Click to view 640x480 A0024 「廣東餅」1960年代與1970年代的一起拍照。何以謂「廣雲貢餅」?此名稱由1995年鄧時海先生在他的《普洱茶》一書中命名的,因為鄧先生認為此茶在1995年時茶質優良,口感特佳,與多位品茗高手評定後,認為當中混有雲南茶青,只因它是在廣東壓製,因此便稱之為「廣雲貢餅」。因此,「廣雲貢餅」是指茶質優良的1960年代廣東餅,因此,「廣雲貢餅」也本身是「廣東餅」。從圖片可以看到1960年代與1970年代的廣東餅,不論餅型及條索均不一樣,這就形成了兩者茶質上相當大的差異。因此,浮雲認為只有茶質優良的1960年代「廣東餅」,才可以真正地稱為「廣雲貢餅」

A0024 The photo shows both "Guangdong Tea Cake" from 1960's and 1970's. Why do people call some of them as "Guangyun Tribute Tea Cake" or "Guangyun Gong Beeng"? The "Guangyun Tribute Tea Cake" was named in a book called "Puerh Tea" wrote by Mr. Deng in 1995. Mr. Deng was of the view that the quality of the "Guangyun Tribute Tea Cake" was above average and having a good taste in 1995. After discussion with other tea experts, they all judged that this "Guangyun Tribute Tea Cake" was mixed with Yunnan tea leaves but compressed in Guangdong however. Therefore, Mr. Deng named these precious 1960's Guangdong Take Cakes as "Guangyun Tribute Tea Cakes". Thus, the "Guangyun Tribute Tea Cake" represents 1960's supreme "Guangdong Tea Cake". In fact, the "Guangyun Tribute Tea Cake" is also one of the members of the "Guangdong Take Cakes". From the photo, we can see that there are differences in the appearances and shape of the tea cakes from two different decades, 1960's and 1970's. Those differences are decisive to the great qualities discrepancy. Cloud is of the view that only the 1960's "Guangdong Tea Cake" with good quality and taste can be truely named as "Guangyun Tribute Tea Cake".

A0031 Zhongcha Brand Simplified Chinese Characters Seven-sons Tea Cake. They had been producd since 1970s. The estimated length of production year of this tea was from middle of 1970s to early 1980s. Why does the market called them as "Zhongcha Simplified Chinese Characters"? It is because the Chinese Characters printed marked with circles in this photo are simplified characters. The circle marked with a "*" shows that the words used are different. In "Simplified Chinese Characters", the word description is "Branch" while the word description used in "Traditional Chinese Characters" is "Tea Company". Can you find some other differences of the printing on the wrapping paper between them. [Ans: A0004 & A0005]

按下圖片取得640x480解像度 Click to view 640x480 A0036 上面的一餅是真正的「鐵餅」型狀的茶,茶的表面是平坦的,它有很直切的邊緣〔見A0038圖〕,是由鐵模壓製而成的。由於鐵模上面有許多小孔,用意是給蒸茶的蒸氣通過,好使乾脆的茶葉軟化,因此蒸壓之後就留有乳釘。

A0036 The upper one is really the "Discus Tea Cake" which has a totally flat surface and having a sharp straight edge [Ref:A0038] compressed with a metal mould. Since the metal mould has many tiny small holes for steam to pass through in order to soften the crispy dry tea leaves before compression, there will be a lot of nails left behind after the strong compression.

A0042 Supreme Yichang Hao 2003 Tea Cake 250g - "Wrapping Outlook". This is my tracing sample for comparision. I will not brew it in the near future. The storage environment has been like this: Clear and Dry, No Ventilation, Wrapped Additional Paper, Keep it in Dark Place. However in that storage environment, the tea cake still ages and grows itself. It's time for you to review how you store your precious tea cakes.

Rough Wrapping Paper Eighty-five Eight two (8582) in 1980s. It is a raw tea cake. I just simple broke the tea cake without using any tools. It was is simple and direct and there was no mercy to the tea cake. However, before I brewed them, I separated the tea leaves softenly in order to avoid breaking the tea leaves severely. Breaking down the tea leaves with soften force also helps tea leaves to absorb hot water.

Rough Wrapping paper 8582 (1980s), raw, brewed tea leaves. This 8582 aged puerh tea offers many infusions. I have been brewing it over the past two days because I just brewed around 7 to 8 infusions each day. The photo shows the status of brewed tea leaves when it has been brewed more than 20 infusions. Thus, in fact, aged puerh tea is not too expensive because it offers you many infusions. After the tea leaves have completely spread, we can draw a conclusion from inspecting the spread tea leaves that its storage environment over the years should be dry storage under normal environment.

浮雲在2006年10月1日因工作太勞累病倒了,休息了五、六天,遠離了電腦。雖然現在還有零星的咳嗽,但總算痊癒了。謝謝各位在期間的支持,仍然收看本網站。〔2006年10月7日公告〕

Because of the overloaded works, Cloud was not feeling very well and got sick on 1 October 2006. I was on my sick leaves (away from updating this site) for 5 to 6 days. 留意這餅茶條索,清晰分明,相當活潑,有種像跳出來的感覺。

Pay attention to the elegant tea leaves of this cake. The tea leaves are very gorgeous, resplendent and splendid. I have got the feeling it is so vivid that the tea is alive.

茶湯小啜一口,質厚、微甘茶韻之中帶一點微微的苦澀,那股久違了的易武茶風味,再次激盪浮雲的腦海,像告訴我,我未陳化好啊!先別喝。那個淺淺橙黃色的茶湯告訴我,進步中...進步中。還記得當初買進的時候,那個顏色很淺的茶湯,真的是淺的嚇死人〔參看A0065圖〕,湯色淺的令浮雲也懷疑自己的選茶眼光。還好,時間可以證明一切。

A0063 "2004 Yiwu Tea Cake" - The Broth, Tea Leaves after Brewing and "A single bud together with 3 tea leaves" was found.
By sipping the broth, I felt that it was thick and rich. A very little bitter taste came after the mild sweet aftertaste. This was the Yiwu style which I always missed. The taste recalled my memory and seems to tell me that it was not the right time to brew because it can have further aging. The light yellowish colour reminded me that it is improving. I recollect that the broth of the tea at the time I bought it was so light that I was at a time having doubts that whether I had bought a right tea for aging. Fortunately, the time proves that I am right.

A Ripe Tea Cake produced in early 1990s. The taste was not bad however its high price right now. Whether it is worth that price depends on how you valuate it. Am I rich enough to buy that? Nope, I just bought it several years ago. The following message was posted in peinfo forum on 2006/10/10 08:41pm: The price of 1994 dry and clean Purple Sky Ripe Tea Cake is around US$300. Cloud says, “Oh~ My God. It is really like drinking gold.”

各位茶友,自上次「八中茶笠仔六安」小茶評(2006年10月25日)後,都沒有把這兒更新,抱歉了,浮雲忙些甚麼呢?就是為了這本普洱茶入門書英文版。這兩星期作最後努力趕稿子,辛苦∼真的很辛苦,每晚都睡眠不足,原來寫書是要有這麼多事情要注意的,與寫網上小品很不同,跟寫雜誌也不同,要負責更多的事情。但這是值得的,普洱茶,雖然學精不易,但入門其實不難,但也要有一定的通路和教材。浮雲首本普洱茶入門書,除了為海外華僑而寫之外,更希望可以藉它介紹予外國人。其實,現在在華文以外的地區,已經開始有些普洱茶熱了,雖然只是非常初步,但普洱茶人的迷人之處,已讓外國人有所認識,有些外國人更不惜越洋從廣州直接訂購新普洱茶餅,因此,如不加快一點將資訊流通,到時只會天下大亂。

浮雲很榮幸受《五行圖書》邀請以英文寫下普洱茶的另一頁,呈獻 "First Step to Chinese Puerh Tea" (簡易中國普洱茶)。本書將於2006年11月19日在「第二屆東南亞普洱交易會」中發表。

A0080 "First Step to Chinese Puerh Tea", Cloud's first introductory book.
I am sorry for not updating this site since 25 October 2006 after I wrote a short note on the Aged Liu-an Small Basket Tea. In the past two weeks, I was extremely busy in writing an introductory Puerh Tea book for overseas Chinese and Westerners. It was a hard job indeed and I rushed for the texts. Honestly speaking, I did not sleep well. I did not expect that there were a lot of minor stuff requiring attentions. Writing a book is totally different from writing a blog post or an article in the magazine. I need to handle more than what I have expected. However, it is worth doing so.

Although it is not easy for one to become a Puerh Tea expert, there will be no difficulty to join into the Puerh tea’s world if you have the accurate information and materials. I wrote this English Puerh Tea book not only for overseas Chinese, but also for Westerners. In fact, Puerh Tea starts to become popular in non-Chinese areas despite the fact that the phenomenon is very preliminary. However, I must point out that some Westerners are now fascinated by the Puerh tea. Some of them are willing to purchase the Puerh tea products directly from Guangzhou and Yunnan through the Internet. I can foresee that if the accurate information cannot be passed to those beginners, it will be a disaster to Chinese Puerh Tea.

I am honored and privileged to be invited by Wushing Book Publication to write on this book which is a new page for Chinese Puerh Tea. I would like to present to you my first book “First Step to Chinese Puerh Tea” which will be issued on 19 November in the Second Southeast Asia Puerh Trade Fair 2006 in Malaysia.

These are one of my tea collections. After I have wrapped them carefully, I packed them into my lugguage and brought them to Malaysia for my readers. Finally, readers took all of them. At that time, I was busy and I forgot to tell my readers that these mini-tea cakes are 2003 and they are raw tea cakes as well. Have a nice tea!

這是一套由永年茶葉公司和石昆牧先生在2004年合作的訂製茶品,由昌泰茶行壓製。分別用易武、蠻磚、倚邦和"猛"海為標示的茶品。此茶品系列當中,易武味道不錯,水甜、質厚、耐泡、棉潤、回韻長,是不錯的茶品,是浮雲藏茶的茶品其中之一,以當中的易武圓茶,更是買個不停。但聽說現在價錢很高,因此,應不值得高追了,見到朋友有此茶,就邀請他請喝一下,拿個樣本,以便有更深的記憶。

This series of tea cakes was joinly ordered by Everlasting Tea Company and Mr. Shi in 2004 and compressed by Chengtai Tea Company. This series consists of tea cakes stamped with Yiwu(易武), Manzhuan(蠻磚), Yibang(倚邦), Menghai(猛"海) chops. I am of the view that the taste of the one marked as "Yiwu" is good, which offers sweety taste, rich and thick broth, many infusions, soft sensations, longlasting aftertaste. It is one of the Cloud's Tea Collections. I had been buying the "Yiwu" one repeatly throughout the last two years. It is said that the price of this series is high, thus, it may not be worth buying. Whenever you notice a friend of yours has this series of tea cakes, ask him to brew it or get some samples so that you can have a better understanding and memory of this series.

A0083 An advertisement in 2004 August issue of Pu-Erh Tea Pot which recorded and evidecned that the series, 2004 by Everlasting Tea Company - Yunnan Original Mountains, Puerh Round Tea Cake, shown in A0082 was the products of 2004. The tea cakes have been aged for 2 years.

茶餅表面上還留有明顯的白霜,當時,還有一些倉味,陳香未現,須要一段退倉的時間。三年後,此茶變的十分好。這是一幅當年無心插柳的照片,成為了今天重要的對照圖。

A0084 (Relevant Photos A0084 to A0095) In 2003, these seven tea cakes were just released from a Wet Storage warehouse. They are the mid-1990s Menghai Seven-son tea cakes.
The surface of these tea cakes in 2003 were still in light grey color. At that time, there was still some irritating Wet Storage smell from the surface of the tea cakes and the aged aroma did not emerge. It took time for the cakes to age and revitalize. After 3 years, the situation became better and better. You may compare this with the subsequent photos. I did not take A0084 on purpose. However, it becomes one of the old photos which is important for research.

這張照片主要的目的是出表達一個訊息,即使是同一批的入倉茶,水準也可以是相差很遠的,圖中原筒中的茶餅只是受到很少的水氣,所以茶餅仍然栗紅有活力;但同一批茶的另一筒之中的一餅茶(即圖中最底下的一塊),由於受水氣嚴重,所以已經啡變了,最下面的一塊茶,基本上,可以說是壞死了的茶。

A0085 This was a photo I posted on a website in 2003. (Relevant Photos A0084 to A0095)
The purpose of posting this photo was to deliver a message that the aging condition of the tea cakes from the same batch of tea storing in the same Wet Storage warehouse could be substantially different. The tea cakes wrapped in the stack aged with less moisture so that the tea cakes are still alive and vivid. You can find those tea cakes wrapped were in great reddish color. However, one of the tea cakes from another stack of the same batch of tea, i.e. the one at the bottom of the photo with brown color, has been deteriorated and not suitable for further brewing because of its exposure to seriously high humidity.

可以細心地比對一下,整筒茶是三年都沒有拆過的,繩子綁著的地方都是一樣的,唯一不同的是茶餅的顏色更加深栗紅,茶陳化了,茶芽都變得更金黃色,期待拆開整筒,拿來品嚐。

A0086 Please compare this photo with A0085. The stack photoed is the same stack of tea cakes in A0085. (Relevant Photos A0084 to A0095)
After careful comparison, you will find that the whole stack of tea was not opened for the last 3 years. The position of tea cakes and strings were the same. The only difference is that the colour of the tea cakes becomes more reddish like chestnuts. The tea had further aging and the tea buds also became more golden than before. I will definitely break them up for future consumption.

平放的一塊是與三年前主角茶品,白霜的確是退掉了不少,而且也有陳香的茶味。

The one placed horizontally was the middle one in A0084. After comparison, you will notice that the color of the tea cake has changed. Apart from that, the aged aroma starts to emerage.
